White Sands Village #206

Mahalo!! My husband, adult son and I had a great time for 5 days and 4 nights at this Villa, following a family reunion in Kailua-Kona. Lovely condo, clean and beautifully decorated. Swam in the evenings in the pool and soa. Ate breakfast on the lanai, snorkeled at three nearby coves. We even visited 2 unique places we hadn\'t been to before: the Hawaiian Qulit Museum and the Vanillerie (vanilla farm and store). Thank you for providing a safe, handy place for us. We love the white sand village complex. Second time stayed at that complex love the location of the pool this condo is great.

The condo was spacious and had a great layout. It was beautifully decorated, but could use a bit of freshening up. The view of Magic Sands beach and the ocean was amazing. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Great location, close to town, but not too close to be super busy.

This property is right across the street from the Magic Sands beach! Our family fully enjoyed the convenience! My boys tirelessly boogie boarded from sun rise to sunset tirelessly!

Property is close to town for restaurants. Across the street from a beach that you can walk to. My family enjoyed the boogie boards that were in the closet as well as some beach chairs. So appreciated the motion sensor light near the front door/kitchen. Loved the front door was keyless entry--all of our family members could come and go as they please. It was nice to have washer and dryer. I wish there was some shelf to put shampoo/conditioner in the master shower instead of having to set on the floor.

What a amazing place to stay. We enjoyed our beautiful condo for the week and the surrounding area. There was the beach, restaurant, shopping and everything you could wish for. The condo was lovely decorated and I would recommend it to anyone. Would love to stay there again

The property is as described. There is great beach access right across the street that gets busy during the day but is a great place to go during sunrise when very few people are there. The place over all was quiet at night and we slept well!

Really enjoyed the unit and location was great. Easy check in and really nice pool area. Location is perfect. My only comment would be that it is probably not the best place to take younger children as the complex is quite strict on noise, jumping in, etc in the pool area. Also, non potty trained children are not allowed in the pool.

The place was clean and quiet. Perfect for not wanting to stay in town. There was a nice beach just across the street from us.

Nice place; we liked the pool and the location. It has a real community feel. It was clean and had plenty of beach towels & chairs. However, it could use a little attention: the towel bar fell off in master bath & the fan in master wobbled so much it was unusable.

Right across from Magic Sands Beach - best place to stay on island. The condo was good and accurate from website. Kitchen good but bathrooms need updating. Condo had beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach items. Kitchen could use some more items such as cookie sheets, pizza cutter, hot pads, etc. I would definitely stay at this complex again.

Nice two bedroom condo, with full kitchen, two baths, in suite laundry, and a nice balcony. Master bedroom - bed has a memory foam mattress topper that makes the bed comfortable. TV in room should u need. A dresser, two night stands and a full closet to place your wears while staying. Ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower of good size. The appartment style washer and dryer are in this bathroom. The room also has a sliding door to the balcony. Ait moves nicely thru this space. Second bedroom- two twin beds also comfy, a closet and dresser with one nightstand. TV in this room does not have satellite just a DVD player. Not a concern for us. Main bathroom- has a shower tub, and full amenities. Hall closet - has spare linens and towels including beach towels. Front closet - has beach chairs, some flippers, a floater board, a snorkel set. Kitchen- full fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster and coffee maker. Has proper cooking wear, plates cups utensils. However short on food containers for the fridge. We purchased a number of supplies for the kitchen and left them there. Including dishwasher tabs. This may very well be due to the last time someone stayed so I didny concern management with this. Parking was easy and close. Beach was just across street the magic sand was gone, that didny bother us. We used the pool, bbq area and grounds. All were kept up daily. There are many beaches close by and lots to do in the area This is second visit to the big island, I enjoyed staying in this region. It was a short drive to many great places to eat or visit. Had lots of fun. This was perfect for us as we were gone most days and back for the evenings. There was plenty of space should we have wanted to stay in as well. No concerns with ants, roaches or any other bugs. I would give the place a deep clean personally, just those hard to reach dust locations. Otherwise it was a clean place, didnt affect my stay. I would stay here again Was excellent for our needs and wants.

It was a perfect location (just down the road from the best snorkeling, kahaluu beach) and across the street from magic sands beach but there was no sand this time for us- it comes and goes. Also very short drive to downtown Kona with great little restaurants and shops. The condo was in good condition and had everything we needed. Perfect for the price. Nice pool with grills too!!

This condo was excellent! Well stocked with everything we needed and more. I love the location, its right across the street from Magic Sands beach. It was really clean and comfortable We would definitely stay again.

We will definitely return to this condo when we come back to the Big Island. The location is perfect. It is right across the street from a beautiful sand beach. My daughter and stayed there for spring break and WE. LOVED. IT! The unit is spacious, comfortable, and clean. Fully stocked with everything we needed for a week at the beach including all the gear. Magic sands beach is a perfect beach 24/7. One of the best parts was going to the beach at 2:00 am to stargaze. Having the beach steps from the rental made the whole trip simple and relaxing. The outdoor BBW area is PERFECT. The pool comfortable and the other guest pleasant. We we absolutely coming back to this unit.

The condo was awesome we loved how big and clean it was. Loved the size of the deck. Beach chairs, cooler makes things easy and great. The only bad thing I can say is someone tried to break into my rental car durning the night. They did not get in but did damage to the car that I now have to deal with. There was nothing in the car we always took everything out as we read that everywhere before taking this trip. This happend on the last two days of the trip so i was happy about that. There are signs about vidio camaras but I did not see any around other than out by the pool area. Talked with police and they did say they don’t get any calls from this complex so that’s good. May be a one time thing I hope. Other than that we loved the condo grounds, pool, grill area is amazing. ***** stars. The only sujestion I would have is more clear numbers on the door. When we got there we found ourselfs going back in forth looking for a unit #. Maybe some numbers or stickers in white. Another great stay at the White Sands Village. We've stayed at the village in the past and our first time in this unit was great. The condo was clean and comfortable and had nearly everything we could have wanted. If you're looking for a great and affordable place to stay look no further. The outdoor facilities are a big added bonus, between the warm pool and the pool table many good times were had. The outside grills were great for keeping food costs down.

We loved our time in white sands village. Right across the street from the iconic magic sands beach and convenient location for restaurants and shops. Very spacious two bedrooms and came with everything we needed including washer and dryer, kitchenware, and some equipment for the beach (bodyboards etc). Will definitely stay here again next time we visit the big island.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at White Sands Village. Across the street from a great little beach Magic Sands. Luckily there was sand every day that we were there. This Condo complex is clean, organized and safe. We had a wonderful time!

Greatest location on the island as far as I am concerned. A one minute to my favorite beach, 3 minute drive to Kona, and 3 minute drive to an excellent shopping center. Highly recommended. The unit itself is clean and comfortable but showed a little neglect. Shower door is missing handles on the inside so you don't want to close the door all the way. Makes it difficult to get out. 🙂 Beds were okay but not fantastic. Otherwise a great place to stay.

The condo is spacious, clean and well equipped. Everything we needed was there. We loved the huge lanai, looking at the ocean, pool and beautiful grounds. The pool is great...the kids' favorite part. Great snorkeling nearby. The magic sands a'laloa beach didn't have sand when we were there...more rocks, so while my husband and I ventured in, it wasn't a place for young kids to swim. It would be better when the magic sands are there. Still, there were lots of beaches to drive to and explore. We had a great time!

Couldn't have found a better place to just hang out! The beach was right across the street from our place! The view of the sunset and the sounds of the surf where the best way to unwind from our hassles in the big city! When we didn't go to the beach for sun bathing or snorkeling(wow! so many kinds of fluorescent fish) we would just hang out at the pool right below our lanai! And at night the illumination from the pool added a special romantic mood. Actually we used the jacuzzi right before heading into the pool the very day of our arrival to melt that stress from the flight! We never did used the sauna nor the tennis court or pool table but we sure will the next time we go back there! The kitchen was well furnished and we used it a lot for breakfast but preferred using the barbecue by the pool one night!Also there was a very nice buffet at a hotel about a twenty minute walk down the road. We even went by foot once during the day to the town and loved the scenery all the way down Alii drive right along the beach front! WHen we stayed in some nights the free wifi and mainland phone connection were an added benefit along with the big flat screen TV! Couldn't get enough of the place and we will definitely go back!
