The Modern Morningside is the chic and comfortable getaway, just 12 minutes from Broadway! Blended with contemporary designs and luxurious finishes, this home offers tons of space. A 10 minute Uber ride will take you to 5 points, Germantown, and Opryland. Explore local breweries, restaurants, museums, cafes, and more in downtown. It's centrally located to all primary high ways to avoid local traffic!
Whether relaxing on the patio, listening to your favorite song on Amazon Echo, or setting up shop in front of the 55" Smart Curve HDTV (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and more), this home is sure to please. The glass dining table has seating for 4 and additional seating can be found at the breakfast bar for 3. Grab yourself a cup of Keurig Coffee to get ready to hit the town. Don't forget to bring your furry friend because this home is pet friendly!
All 3 bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. The master bedroom has a King bed, mid-century modern couch, and an en suite bathroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have a Queen bed. The 2nd bathroom is shared between the guest bedrooms. A half bathroom can be found on the 1st floor.
The backyard is fenced in, perfect for your furry friend to run around! The washer and dryer are available for guests. Parking is available for 1-2 cars in the driveway and 2 cars on the street.
Please note: If you are bringing a pet - the pet fee is not included in this total price. An additional $35 per night pet fee will be applied after booking is complete. A maximum of 2 pets can be brought to the unit. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. To avoid fines please make sure your pet is on a leash and you pick up after your pet.

- No events, parties, or group gatherings unless pre-approved.
- We're delighted to accommodate small events if they adhere to our house rules, overnight guests do not exceed the maximum occupancy, and you and your party are respectful of all local noise ordinances, neighbors and community rules.
- Should we find that the group is being disrespectful to the property or neighbors in any way, we reserve the right to take action, including charging additional fees and eviction if necessary.
- Vacation rental use only.
- Early check-in requests within 24 hours of arrival.
- Late check-out requests by 10 AM the day before departure.
- Early check-in and late check-out may incur a fee up to $100.
- Follow city occupancy rules; children under 2 not counted.
- Over-occupancy incurs a $500 fine per extra person.
- Quiet Hours: 9 PM – 8 AM; noise under 60 dBA. $500 fine for noise violations.
- Property Inspection: Notify us of any issues immediately. We may inspect at any time for rule violations.
- Pets: Must be pre-approved. If pets are authorized, fees are collected after booking confirmation. Unauthorized pets incur extra fees and fines.
- Cleaning: Remove trash and load & run dishwasher upon check-out. Extra trash incurs a $150 fee.
- Utilities & Appliances: Normal utility usage included. Excessive use could incur additional fees. Use appliances as intended.
- Parking: Follow local parking rules. Fines for violations.
- Safety & Security: No illegal activities or hazardous materials. Properties may have surveillance.
- Maintenance: Report issues promptly. No refunds for mechanical failures.
- Payments & Deposits: Major credit card required. Security deposit may be used for damages.
- Lost & Found: $25 minimum shipping cost for lost items.
- Legal: Violation of rules may result in eviction without refund. By booking, you agree to all rules and regulations.

Great House

Neighborhood is a little close to rough neighborhoods in one direction, but we had zero issues in 8 days. We have seen revitalization in neighborhoods like this all over. Great house made our stay in Nashville very enjoyable. We would have liked a little wider driveway entrance. Would stay again for sure.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Some friends and I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway for his birthday and we brought our babies. The house was the perfect size and had everything we needed to make the weekend easy. The location itself was convenient for us to get to broadway. The neighborhood wouldn’t have been my first choice but everything else made up for it so I’m sticking with my 5 stars. Over all we had a great weekend and a great stay and I would definitely recommend Talbot’s corner whether it’s a group of friends, or a family staying.

Great for group of 6

Great layout for having a group of friends (3 couples) hang out, deck out back, and very clean. Not a lot in the neighborhood but we planned on taking an Uber everywhere anyway. Beds were not very comfortable but at least queen size for all three rooms which was hard to find when we were looking. Loved having the keurig and washer dryer available too.

Cleaning service could spend a little more time “deep cleaning” in the higher traffic areas; bathrooms, kitchen
It’s such a beautiful property, I’m not sure why they didn’t invest more in the steps leading to the front door
Overall, very pleased, would rent this place again

Great home

Great hoke for 6 adults. Close uber ride to downtown. If you are one that likes to unpack your suitcase, bring hangers, there are no dressers.
Pictures don't do the place justice. Love the personal touches the owners had around the place- even if they were Florida Gator fans

Great stay

We had a great stay at Morningside. Place was beautiful but most importantly it was clean and well taken care of. Location was ok -- on the east side but it's an up and coming area. A short Uber ride to Broadway averaged about $12. One suggestion - two out of three of the bedrooms have no mirrors. Maybe men don't need mirrors, but women do. Other than that, it was a beautiful place and we would definitely rent again.

Late spring in Nashville with friends

Sorry for the late review. We had a great time in Nashville and enjoyed our stay at Talbot's Corner. The house was clean and in a great location for our weekend plans. It was very convenient to downtown and breweries and restaurants in East Nashville. Our only minor suggestion was that the kitchen could use more pans, utensils, etc for those who were planning to cook meals during their stay. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Nashville.

The company said they would get back to us with a solution but didn't, so we just used our cell phones for light. Minus those issues, we really liked the house.

Awesome house!

The house is great! Love the kitchen, bathrooms, the shower, the hardwood floors. The neighborhood isn't very walkable, if that's important to you. My frustration was with the management company. I had to call to get move in instructions from them. Their automated information came the day after we arrived. Also the garbage cans outside were overflowing, causing us to keep our garbage in the house. And at least 12 lightbulbs were out. Since they left the supply closet unlocked, we changed all the bulbs we could, but left several. Those issues aside, we would likely stay again, just because the house is so nice!
