When to Visit Santa Barbara

There is no bad time to visit Santa Barbara.

December to February – You won’t see any snow, but you will be there when it is less crowded. The temperatures rarely hit the 60s and a low of 40s.

March to June & September to November – Not too hot and not too cold. These are the months you will experience the most sunshine. Temperatures range from high 60s to high 70s.

July to August – Brings high temperatures up to the 80s. There is also a noticeable increase in hotel prices as well as visitors. This is the time of the year to swim/surf/kayak in the Santa Barbara Channel.
