Joshua Tree National Park

Rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes make up the Joshua Tree National Park.  This protected area spans across the Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert offering a cooler climate.  The region is well-known for its twisted, bristled Joshua trees and stunning lookouts over the Coachella Valley.  With roughly 300 miles of hiking trails, breathtaking stargazing opportunities, and even horseback riding – the park is a great place to explore and enjoy the beauty of the desert.
