With a variety of golf courses to choose from any golfer will feel right at home as they visit Lake Tahoe.  From family friendly to celebrity events – there’s the perfect course for whatever you need. Here are some of our favorite courses near our vacation rentals.

Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is 4 miles south of the Lake complete with 18 holes, a pro shop, practice facilities, and a snack bar.

Lake Tahoe Golf Course is located further south near Meyers.  This William Bell-designed layout has breathtaking views in its natural meadows.  Alongside its 18 hold course, there is a driving range and wedding/banquet facility open year round.

Carson Valley Golf Course is a great option if you’re looking to beat the warm weather.  The course is clad in more trees than any other course in the Carson Valley.

Visit the oldest golf course in South Lake Tahoe at Bijou.  This course is ideal for the whole family and can accommodate all skill levels.  The facility has a 9-hole course, par 33 layout, and has a relaxed ambiance.

Northstar Golf Course has an 18-hole, par-72 course residing within the mountains and valley. Take advantage of the 4 tee locations, a rental shop, bar and restaurant, and lessons.

An 18-hole championship course known for being environmentally conscious – is located in the Resort at Squaw Creek. Golfers under age 17 can utilize the $29 golf specials.

A reasonable option, at only $30 for a 9-hole game, is the Old Brockway Golf Course. This 3,400-yard course is located right off the lake at Kings Beach.

Gray’s Crossing Golf Course in Truckee is a more challenging option. The course winds through the pine woods and can be packaged with sister course, Old Greenwood.
