Cool house but…

This is on first glance a stunning house. Great views, comfy beds, classic sea ranch peacefulness etc. But under the surface there were some problems that were annoying. The coffee table was so close to breaking that we couldn’t use it in fear it would break on our watch. The kitchen is very minimally furnished which was tough because we love to cool when we vacation. The pillows were cheap and lumpy. Washer and dryer were out of commission which was never listed as an amenity but is usually expected at sea ranch. Overall I can’t recommend this house until the rental company takes some of our very realistic complaints into account.

Stay at seashore

We enjoyed our stay at seashore! The place was clean, kitchen was stocked (updated it seems from previous reviews), location was great, and coziness/views were spectacular. We would definitely recommend! Note that for the check-in process, you have to go to a different building (10 minutes away) to pick up and drop off the key. I think it would be more convenient to just use the lock box on site and save time driving (especially if arriving at night). Also for price, check-in should be earlier and check out should be at least 11am

We enjoyed our stay at seashore! The place was clean, kitchen was stocked (updated it seems from previous reviews), location was great, and coziness/views were spectacular. Very nice house. Architecture is spectacular. The kitchen could be better stocked with better glass ware and cooking items like a few baking dishes and larger glasses. No wash cloths or kitchen towels. Check in very late at 4pm and expect you out at 10am.

Great Property/Limited Ameneties

Wonderful property at a great location. Views from the living space and deck are excellent. Great spot to just sit end enjoy the surroundings, as well as access to locations along the coast. Clean, well kept, and all appliances working well. Would definitely rent the place again if the opportunity presented itself. The kitchen is somewhat limited in how well it is stocked, along with the lack of a barbecue makes cooking options limited. We brought along spices and some additional cooking implements that made the kitchen work well. The only other thing that would have added to enjoyment would have been a hot tub.

Perfect place to relax with family

We went to Sea Ranch as a way to get away and relax with family. The house was better than we anticipated. The views were beautiful, it was well equipped and extremely comfortable. We ended up just soaking up time with grandparents planning games and making big meals together. Check in was down the street which is perfect since it’s next to all the grocery stores. The location is also close to a slew of beaches, both private to Sea Ranch guests and public. Every day there were deer in the yard which our 8 year old daughter loved. We highly recommend this property and look forward to going back.

The expansive view from Panorama is as pictured, with white caps and ocean. Panorama has been completely updated. The baths, kitchen, and laundry, windows are all new and appliances work well. The beds are supportive and comfortable with linens and down. Plenty of towels, toilet paper and paper towels, plus some dish soap, dishwasher cubes, and laundry soap provided. .Our baby crawled on the very clean floor. I brought tiny hand soaps for the sinks. Don't miss the Ranch Cafe up the hill nearby for breakfast or lunch. They have a great to go lasagne too. Surf markets in Gualala have everything else. There is no BBQ and no hot tub, but we didn't miss them. It's very clean, a beautiful design, well - appointed, quiet, private and cozy. We will return!

Relaxing Weekend

Great location and nice house to relax in with great views. Big table to do a puzzle on and it open concept made it ideal for cooking and sitting around the kitchen island. The bathroom floors are heated, which was nice in the cool mornings.

This house is amazing except the bugs

This house is great! beautiful view beautiful decorations. Love the furniture. Only problem we had is spiders big, and big bugs. Multiple through out the day. I vacuumed but it was to point where my son found one is his pants(dime size). If you take care of that we wil be back. Would love a BQ as well but surf grocery store took care of that.

Great house for a relaxing time at the beach

We abandoned our vacation plans at Yosemite due to fires and booked this property at the last minute. We had a lovely time here. Each day we walked through the quiet neighborhood and caught a trail along the shore, enjoying picnics on sandy beaches, climbing on rocks, exploring tide pools, and watching the seals. Then in the evening we relaxed together. It was great that the cooking and relaxing can all occur in the same space with a view that is gorgeous. We enjoyed the lovely breezes through opened windows each evening. The bedrooms were comfortable and very convenient for loading and unloading luggage. Grocery stores are nearby. My husband and I wish we could move this house to Georgia to live in full time!

Really great place for a get away. We saw whales from the windows. Kitchen needs a big frying pan, a baking sheet and some sharp knives but otherwise well equipped. Bring your own chairs for the outside. There are only two chaise lounge. We brought our chairs in the bag and were very happy we did. The rental office is willing to bring extra towels ect. and very pleasant.

A lovely, well-appointed house, with a great view and location

Overall, we really liked Panorama House. It is very well constructed with lovely wood everywhere; the modern interiors are cleanly drawn. Windows on multiple sides flood the main living room/kitchen with light and the windows and screen door allow for a refreshing cross breeze during nice weather. We loved the open kitchen/living room/dining room, which allowed us all to hang out while cooking, watching television, or working at the dining room table. The lack of decor in the house is spartan, but we ultimately appreciated the simplicity of the interior. It feels like a house that was designed for renting out more than it is anyone's personal residence, and the layout was great for two couples sharing the place—bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs. Furnishings are basic, but tasteful and comfortable. We were so comfortable here that we extended our stay by a day. The Location: It's about a 1/4 mile walk to the coast and Bluff Trail. Slightly unfortunate that one must walk on paved streets to get to the trail, but no big deal. The section of coast for the a mile north on the trail from this house is spectacular, especially at sundown. It's just a quick drive to Gualala (5-10 minutes) for supplies. We saw tons of deer, some foxes, seals and birds. Only reason this place isn't 5 stars is a few odd irregularities. There were no towels provided. (As we turned in our keys, we were told by the rental agency that we could have requested that towels be brought by, but we didn't know that and shared two old ones from our car between 4 people.) There were also some dirty pots and pans strangely hidden in the drawer under the stove. The outside (electric) grill was sort of gunky, so we didn't use it. And, finally, the .5 bath—a toilet on the main floor—appeared to be unstably secured to the wall.
